Class description
This class is an opportunity for students to practice English conversation in a relaxed and friendly environment. It’s the perfect way to connect with fellow English learners from around the world as the weekend comes to a close. Each class may have a particular theme, but there will always be time for casual small talk and spontaneous conversation.
This class provides a mistake-friendly space where you can feel comfortable speaking, making errors, and learning from them in a natural way.
In addition to getting to know each other and whatever else people want to talk about, possible topics of discussion could include:
• What did you do this weekend?
• Did anything unexpected or interesting happen?
• What was the highlight of your weekend?
• How are you feeling about the week ahead?
• Is there anything you’re looking forward to (or not looking forward to)?
• What’s something relaxing or fun you like to do on Sundays?
This class is suitable for people with a B2+ level. Whether you're excited about sharing your weekend plans, talking about your favorite hobbies, or simply enjoying a chat over a warm drink, this is the place for you.
After this class, you’ll have learned
The aims of this class are:
• Have a group discussion with people around the world in English.
• Practice your listening skills by listening to other people.
• Feel more comfortable interacting with others.
• Discuss a variety of topics relating to daily life, plans for the weekend, etc.
This course is aimed at intermediate English learners or higher (B2+). Individual correction of your English may sometimes occur during the group class when it is necessary, but the teacher will aim to provide any feedback and corrects to each student individually after the class if necessary.
