In this class, we'll talk about your favorite book(s), the one(s) that had an impact on you, as well as the characters and stories you related to. The class will work a bit as a book club, with a little warm up before and a discussion at the end. Here's the structure: PART 1 (WARM-UP): We'll exchange about our reading habits (reading frequency, favorite genres of books or authors...) PART 2 (PRESENTATION): Each of you will introduce a book you really like (only requirement: it has to be either fiction or an autobiography!). You'll have to sum up the story (but without spoiling the end!), introduce the main character(s) and finish by your own personal review (Why did you like it? Why would other people like it?) PART 3 (DISCUSSION): Once every one would have given their presentation, you'll be invited to say which one of the books introduced could be next on your nightstand. Then it will be followed by a free talk about: - other books that had an impact on you and you would recommend - the books which really disappointed you, the worst books you had to read in high school or books you consider overrated - the best books or authors from your country - and anything you'd like to share about the topic! You'll be able to speak freely in a relaxed atmosphere (i.e you'll be strongly invited to use "tu" ;).) The material (guide for the book presentation, the document to express your opinion different ways and the lexicon regarding the book vocabulary) will be available after purchase.

In this class, you'll be able to train both continuous and interactive oral expression. Also, with the document provided, you'll enrich your ability to express your opinion in a wider range of ways. In addition, the list of vocabulary provided will help you enrich your vocabulary related to books, literature and stories.
