Class description

In this class we will take a fun, relaxed approach to learning vocabulary to describe people and their character traits. We will learn a lot of vocabulary to describe people, discuss what traits we think are good and/or bad, and design our perfect neighbour. I will use Zoom breakout rooms and the whiteboard to give students a lot of opportunities to speak. I will also pick up on common grammatical errors and talk through them with the class. As I learn about my students I can also tailor future group classes to suit you.

After this class, you’ll have learned

My students will practise their English and learn more vocabulary for describing people. They will become confident in giving their opinion and discussing ideas with people from around the world. They will get feedback on their English and become more aware of areas for improvement and how to improve.

Tasha Wilson

I have spent five years teaching English in London, the Middle East and online. I love teaching because it allows me to constantly grow and develop. Every day is new and interesting and I get to learn more about the world through my students. As a teacher I am enthusiastic, friendly and warm, as I am in my personal life. I focus on all the disciplines; speaking, reading, writing, and listening. I believe it is important to encourage students and focus on their victories as well as room for improvement. As a teacher, there is no greater gift than seeing your students improve and I believe that we can achieve this most effectively by making lessons fun and interesting!
