Want to or planning to go to university in America? Seen or heard about shootings on school campuses and a bit worried? Well, in this Coming to America session, you’ll learn some life-saving tips that you can use no matter what university you attend in America if you ever find yourself in an active shooter situation on campus.
IN THIS CLASS:
(1) You will watch a short video about what to do in an active shooter event at university.
(2) You will engage in an informative discussion regarding active shooter events at universities in America.
THIS CLASS IS FOR:
(1) Those from countries outside America who want to or are planning to attend university in America.
(2) Those who want some tips on how to survive an active shooter event at universities in America.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
“Just Another Day: How to Survive an Active Shooter Event on Campus” Short Film (shown during class by teacher)
Coming to America: Active Shooter Event at University Note-Taking Sheet
PREPARATION:
Decide the name you prefer the teacher and group members to call you during the session, and enter it as your Display Name on Zoom.
