Telling someone to “calm down” is not always the best option, but what else can you say? Using phrasal verbs can help you express yourself better in delicate situations. In this interactive lesson, students will role play several scenarios to practice kindly telling people to calm down or be quiet in a variety of situations while using phrasal verbs.

After this class, you’ll have learned

Practice your interpersonal communication while using common phrasal verbs, distinguishing differences between them. During the activities, you will talk to other students to get help in a way that sounds natural, while getting comfortable with phrasal verbs.
