In this lesson, we will discuss the idea of the Monomyth, more commonly known as the hero's journey, and its role in cultural preservation and understanding how storytelling contributes to societal views and functionality coupled with the idea of traditional storytelling as a catalyst for deeper intercultural exchange.

In addition to holding a native conversation with attention to critical thought, students will engage with the following 9 learning outcomes: 1.
