Class description

This group class is for anyone who would like to improve their English writing skills, especially in preparation for an exam. We will focus on TOEFL, but anyone who wishes to write well should benefit from this lesson. I will attempt to actively involve each participant and make the lesson as productive as possible with a variety of activities.

After this class, you’ll have learned

Writing is often considered a "weak" area in English. I will assist you by covering general writing skills and how to structure an essay. I will cover TOEFL Writing specifically, but writing in general. We can also discuss tips and tricks to improve writing cohesion and coherency. The use of linking and sequencing words is also crucial. In addition, learn about complex and compound sentences. I will attempt to answer all your writing questions.
