Class description
This group class is for English students over the age of 18 at a B2 upper-intermediate level, who want to have a lively chat with a tutor and other students from around the world in a relaxed atmosphere.
You can play a speaking game with homophones. A homophone is a word which sounds the same as another word but has a different meaning and which may also have a different spelling. You can avoid misunderstandings and discover new ways to use familiar vocabulary. I will send a short video before the class, which we can discuss together.

Meet your teacher
Helen Low

I can relate to the practical, everyday challenges of using a foreign language, since I studied Russian at University and spent a year living in Russia, where I first started teaching English. I'm also interested in history and literature, and enjoy the opportunity to explore language and culture with my students.
