A Certified Korean Teacher / Teaching Korean Online since 2017 / Recommendations Letter for GKS

I am a professional Korean teacher with over a decade of experience. I began teaching in 2011 during an exchange program in Tanzania, where I volunteered at a Hangeul school. Helping children read and write Korean was a refreshing experience that sparked my passion for teaching. Later, while traveling through Southeast Asia, I met many people captivated by K-pop and K-dramas. Seeing their joy in communicating with a native speaker made me realize how language can bridge cultures. These moments inspired me to become a professional tutor, and I have been teaching on italki since 2017. To me, teaching Korean is a wonderful way to connect with the world and empower students.
