Let's talk about scams. They are everywhere and in every culture. People want to make money and some people don't care who they hurt while they are doing it. We will look at some stories about typical scams and use that to move on to different types of scams. Have you ever been scammed or maybe you scammed someone? Let's talk about it! This is for B1 and B2 students. Potential students should download the pdf and become familiar with the material. It is not necessary but will help you to contribute more to the discussion.
After this class, you’ll have learned
Students will learn about scams. How to talk about them, how to recognize them and how to avoid them. Students will learn vocabulary and grammar structures. Everyone will talk about scams and feel more confident sharing opinions.
