A course suitable for adults of all ages who live or work in an English-speaking community. Do you enjoy experiencing international culture? This course is ideal for fast beginners who want to learn and experience more than "What's your name? Where are you from?".
There is so much new information in our world. A key skill in this course is learning to listen for the important information.
This course offers a lot of practice for speaking skills and conversation skills. There are many listening exercises to help the student understand others and communicate more confidently.
Students will learn vocabulary, follow written exercises, and practice their listening, reading and speaking skills.
NOTE: The class length is "1 hour" to allow us to complete a whole half-unit of each chapter. The actual class time will be 57 mins to allow for a smooth transfer between classes.
NOTE: This course is not aimed at learning English for travelling and sightseeing, but it can help students with some basic language skills for beginning a new course of study overseas. It can also help students in their own country or community who often have English-speaking customers at work. For business people, it can help improve their listening comprehension skills in the international business community.
After this class, you’ll have learned

👩🎓Teaching Background :-
I am from the UK. My goal is to teach a neutral English accent. As an experienced instructor in South Korea, I am able to support US phonics and spellings. 😃
Our classes include reading the coursebook texts, studying the vocabulary and exploring the stories. The "Our World" course has many fun songs that help students remember the material.
We follow the textbook exercises to practice using vocabulary words and examples. My aim is help students be confident in speaking full sentences of English.
The natural world of National Geographic provides a perfect introduction to English, with expert guidance in textbook exercises to help students really improve.
