Do you want to study English in a fun and relaxed way while watching TED videos, YouTube vlogs and talk-shows? If yes, this class is for you. The example topics we discuss here: why people procrastinate, what is success, superstitions, book recommendations, how to study languages, and more. We'll have a new topic every week. I've taught this class before with Russian speakers in a small group, and we had more than 40 lessons in total. I also worked with a large group of international students this summer who were studying General English. This Speaking and Video Club class combines such skills as listening and speaking. We will watch some extracts from videos to practise listening skills, work with useful vocabulary and then we will chat about these topics, share our experience and opinions in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You will work as a whole class, individually, in pairs and in small groups during this class. You don't need to watch anything or do any preparations before this class.
