Language essentials-Phrasal verbs

Class description

Sometimes “thank you” and “no thank you” aren’t enough to say what you really mean, especially when English is not your first language! Including phrasal verbs can help you express yourself better in delicate situations. In this interactive lesson, students will role play several scenarios to practice saying thanks and no thanks in a variety of situations while using phrasal verbs.

After this class, you’ll have learned

Practice your interpersonal communication while using common phrasal verbs, distinguishing differences between them. During the role play activities, you will talk to other students to accept gifts and praise, and politely decline invitations and suggestions while getting comfortable with phrasal verbs.
