Welcome to our "Pride and Prejudice" book club course! Over the next 5 weeks, we'll delve into this much-adored classic by Jane Austen, focusing on its rich characters and themes. This is going to be ideal for advanced students of English (C1) who enjoy reflective discussions about classic literature. Each week, we'll cover new chapters, hold dynamic discussions, and explore the history and time period in correlation to current times. This is an inclusive, interactive approach, and I encourage all to share their insights surrounding their reading while responding to the discussion questions. You'll need to have a passion for reading (or have read it previously!) and be prepared to participate in order to fully enjoy these sessions. Let's make one of literature's great works our joint journey and bring it to life with our developing language skills!

I have worked as a teacher for the past three years while developing my teaching skills through the completion of an MATESOL and enrolling in a doctoral degree in curriculum design and instruction. I have enjoyed working with a variety of ages, from children to adults. In addition to my master's degree, I also hold a teaching license from the state of Massachusetts (Grades 5-12) and have worked with the board of education in Japan for the past year. My top priority as an instructor is to see you grow, developing the skills you need to achieve your success.
