Sapu lidi juga digunakan, biasanya diarahkan ke langit sambil berdoa, dengan harapan bisa "menyapu" awan gelap
Cara ini bukan ilmu pasti ya, tapi bagian dari tradisi lokal
Biasanya, semua itu dilakukan saat ada acara penting, seperti pernikahan, supaya cuaca tetap cerah

Kedua cara ini menunjukkan bahwa manusia selalu punya harapan, dan cara sendiri untuk berkomunikasi dengan alam
Kita tidak bisa mengatur cuaca, tapi kita bisa punya harapan sederhana, semoga hari itu cerah dan berjalan lancar

In this episode of our Chinese character culture podcast, we explore the core character of "shǒu" (hand) and its fascinating evolution. We start with the left and right hands: the left hand was originally the helping hand, which explains the characters for assisting and seasoning! The right hand was the working hand, which even gave birth to the character for friend, because friends are like your other hand helping each other! We uncover how hand actions created words like taking, breaking, and New Year greeting! Then we dive into the character "cùn", which was originally the pulse point in Chinese medicine, not just a length unit, which explains begging and paying! And the biggest surprise: the character "chǒu" wasn't originally ugly, it was a closed hand! That explains buttons, knots, grappling, and even little girls! Then the open hand "chā" explains branches, hairpins, and shorts! Perfect for Chinese learners who want to understand the logic behind all those common hand-related characters!

このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

旅行の話の続きをしますね。

前回のPodcastでは、アメリカ旅行の話していました。
大学を卒業する時に行った旅行ですね。
日本では卒業旅行といいます。

で、今回はアメリカ旅行の続き、ラスベガスへ行った話ですね。ラスベガスに行ったことありますか？僕が行った時は22歳？の時だったので、ギャンブルにも興味がないし、お金も持っていないので、カジノではほとんど遊んでません。

その時は、ユニークな形のホテルがたくさんあったので、それを見て回りました。ホテルの前でいろいろとアトラクションがあったので、それもいくつか見たと思います。

今調べてみましたが、今もいろんなホテルがありますね。
いろんな国がテーマになっているホテルがあります。
たとえば、エジプトがテーマのルクソール、
イタリアがテーマのベネチアン、
ニューヨーク、とか
いろいろありますね。

ホテルの中にジェットコースターがある場所もあります。
本当に他の場所では見られないようなホテルがたくさんありました。

そんなホテルの1つにストラトスフィアというホテルがあります。そこに大きなタワーがあって、1番上にビッグショットというアトラクションがあります。僕たちはそれに乗りました！2回！乗りました。

これはぜひYouTubeで検索して見てほしいんですけど、めっちゃおもしろかったです。

ラスベガスの夜景を見ながら、この高い場所で激しく上下に動くアトラクション、ビッグショットに乗りました。これはめずらしく、見た景色を覚えています。それぐらい特別な体験だったんだろうなと思います。

今日はラスベガスの話で終わります。
