Раньше я часто проводила время с друзьями, но сейчас я предпочитаю проводить время с моей семьёй. Я встретила моих двух подруг когда училась в школе и университете. Конечно, мы до сих пор разговариваем, но не встречаемся так часто, как раньше потому что живём в разных местах. Я также встретила несколько новых друзей. Но с ними у нас не много общего. Им нравятся тусовки, выпивка, шутки и больше ничего. Мне кажется, что сейчас мне не нужны друзья и я не пытаюсь искать их. Мне хорошо без них. Я думаю, что не надо искать друзей, что настоящие друзья появляются в твоей жизни тогда, когда ты меньше этого ждёшь. Когда я училась в школе, я думала, что иметь много друзей - это круто. Тот, у кого было больше друзей, всегда считал себя самым главным в классе. Но сейчас я понимаю, что количество друзей не так важно. Самое главное иметь добрых и преданных друзей, которые всегда могут выслушать тебя, помочь тебе и поддержать в трудную минуту. Моя мама всегда говорила мне, что друзья не научат тебя ничему хорошему. Может быть, она просто не хотела, чтобы у меня были подруги. Когда я говорила ей, что у меня есть подруга, она отвечала мне, что единственная подруга, которая есть у меня, это она сама. Может быть, она просто ревновала меня. Сейчас у нас есть интернет и стало очень популярным заводить виртуальных друзей. Тебе не надо видеть их, вы просто общаетесь на интересные вам темы. Introduction

“I’d really like to participate in a drawing contest, which is organised by my university every year, and the first three prize winners actually go forward to a national drawing contest. I wasn’t so into drawing over the years, but I found that during all the covid lockdowns that it was a great way to pass the time, and really helped me from going stir crazy stuck at home every day during the numerous lockdowns we had.

 

I recently showed some of my friends a few of my sketches, which are mostly landscapes, and they were very complimentary, and suggested that I enter a competition, which gave me a boost of confidence. 

I imagine that the  competition would be pretty stiff for this contest, but i feel confident that i’ve really developed my skills enough over the past year or so, and with my friends and families encouragement have been able to get the nerve up to show off my drawing skills in public.

 

I guess the main reason i’d like to take part in this contest is that i’ve really grown to love drawing, and feel it would actually be a lot of fun to enter, as well as giving me a new challenge which i think i’m now ready for. Another reason is of course the chance of winning a nice prize, and maybe even having my drawing going forward to the national contest, which would really be amazing.

Host: Welcome to the latest edition of the Legal Insider podcast. I'm your host, and today we have a shocking story to bring you. Influencer Andrew Tate, a self-confessed misogynist, has been arrested and taken into custody on charges of human trafficking, rape, and organized crime. Joining me to discuss this is our reporter. Can you tell us more about this case?

Reporter: Yes, the suspect and three others were arrested last night in Romania on charges of forming an organized crime group, human trafficking, and rape. Prosecutors say that six women have been identified as having been exploited by the group, which allegedly created pornographic content for paid websites as part of a venture that made them a significant sum of money. The authorities are alleging that this was the purpose of the group and are requesting to extend the suspect's detention period from 24 hours to 30 days.

Host: This is a shocking and disturbing story. What is known about the other suspects arrested with the suspect?

Reporter: The suspect's brother and two Romanian nationals were also taken into custody. It's not clear at this time what their involvement in the alleged crimes is. The suspect is a well-known online personality, with notoriety for his controversial views. He was kicked off Twitter in 2017 for his misogynistic views but was reinstated last month. He has publicly stated that women belong in the home, can´t drive, and are a man’s property. Despite these views, he was one of the most searched-for celebrities on social media in 2022.

Host: And do we know if the suspect has a criminal record?

Reporter: It's not clear at this time if he has committed any offenses previously, but these are certainly serious allegations and the authorities are seeking to extend his detention period. We'll continue to follow this story and bring you updates as more information becomes available.
