It's been a while since I posted something. Happy 2023! 

I recently watched The Glory and am currently watching My Name on Netflix. They are similar because both of the lead characters are seeking revenge. 

It got me thinking.

Since two wrongs don't make a right, should we always be the bigger person and show mercy?

To forgive and forget?
To forgive but never forget?

Or

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Is there a limit to what we can put up with as humans? What do we do if someone crosses that line?

It was fascinating and I am enjoying My Name so far. I will watch the final episode tonight and post my thoughts after that.

Existe un taco CUYO origen es incierto, ALGUNOS creen que surgió en la capital mexicana OTROS  dicen QUE comenzó su vida taquera en el estado vecino. Sea cuál sea su origen, lo único que podemos decir es que son una bomba de sabor. Hablamos de los tacos placeros.

Historiadores taqueros cuentan las hipótesis del origen de ese manjar divino dónde se mezcla la pasión por la fiesta taurina y la pereza - flojera, mejor dicho - del mexicano un domingo por la tarde. La primera hipótesis dice que estos tacos surgen de los mercados populares donde marchantes daban a sus clientes a probar su mercancía sobre una tortilla que iba directo a la mano del cliente con nopalitos o chicharrón, según fuera el puesto. Esto significa que el taco placero regresa al pasado gastronómico de la cultura mexicana. Otra teoría dice que dependen del estado donde se preparen. Se dice que en la Ciudad de México se les comenzó a llamar así desde 1946, por los tacos de chicharrón y carne que se vendían en la Plaza de Toros los días de corridas. Tras terminar el evento taurino, los visitantes salían del recinto y fuera de la plaza se encontraban personas vendiendo tacos de chicharrón y carne de res, costumbre que continúa hoy en día y a la que se han sumado todo tipo de tacos: de guisado, suadero, bistec con nopales, etc.
