"The Glory": A K-Drama About Revenge!
Description
It's been a while since I posted something. Happy 2023!
I recently watched The Glory and am currently watching My Name on Netflix. They are similar because both of the lead characters are seeking revenge.
It got me thinking.
Since two wrongs don't make a right, should we always be the bigger person and show mercy?
To forgive and forget?
To forgive but never forget?
Or
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Is there a limit to what we can put up with as humans? What do we do if someone crosses that line?
It was fascinating and I am enjoying My Name so far. I will watch the final episode tonight and post my thoughts after that.
(A little disclaimer: they are both disturbing so do not watch either of them if the nature of the show is something you are sensitive to.)
