Many people find themselves in unpleasant work situations and struggle with the question of waiting it out to see if it improves or changing jobs or even careers.

I left Canada to teach English in the Czech Republic in 1995. There are three chapters that cover my experience there which include meeting my first wife. Ten years later, I was in India on a new teaching job getting divorced. I met and dated Marta.

This is a review of my chapter 4  in my book Expect the Unexpected, about living in a foreign country.  This chapter is about a weekend with my dad back in 1972. In this story, I learn several lessons which follow through the book.
