Hello everyone listening. I had a long break from uploading italki podcasts, sorry for that! :) 
Time flies. I was busy doing language things, moved countries, and worked hard on my YT channel. However, here comes the next one! It's just a quick breakdown of all things that you need to have on your checklist if you want to study German efficiently, so isolating a core concepts such as verbs might be a good idea in some cases. Episode 9: Deutsche Verben lernen 

ちょっと… (Chotto...)
Meaning "a little," but when said with a pause, it usually implies "It’s a bit difficult" or "I’m not really up for it."

Example:
A: "週末に映画を見に行かない？" (Shūmatsu ni eiga o mi ni ikanai? / Shall we go see a movie this weekend?)
B: "ちょっと..." (Chotto... / [Subtle 'no'])

考えておきます (Kangaete okimasu)
This phrase translates to "I’ll think about it," but it often means "I’m not sure" or "probably not." It’s a polite way of dodging the question without rejecting it outright.

難しいですね (Muzukashii desu ne)
Literally means "It’s difficult," but it’s commonly used as a soft "no." Instead of saying they can’t do something, people will say it’s difficult, implying they can’t or won’t.
