Matt went to high school with Curtis & is a user-centered product design strategist, UX researcher, and systems thinker with 20+ years of experience helping cross-functional teams turn complexity into clarity.

Together, they are building tools that make systems thinking, emotional intelligence, and creative collaboration accessible to everyday people — from classrooms to corporate teams.

あせるとは早くしなければいけない時にいらいらしたり、何か予想しなかったことが起こって驚いたときに使う言葉です。あせったときに汗が出たと覚えるのがいいかもしれません。ちなみに同じ「あせ」ですが漢字は違います。
みなさんは最近あせったことがありますか？
買い物に行って、お金を払う時になって財布を忘れたことに気づいたり、電車に乗り遅れそうな時はあせりますよね。ここ1、２年はマスクを忘れて焦った人も多いと思います。
私が最近あせったのはレッスンの前にパソコンが動かなかった時です。最近私のパソコンは調子が悪く、すぐに起動できなかったり、突然クラッシュすることがあります。私はレッスンの中でテキストを生徒と共有したり、グーグルドキュメントにノートを書いたりするので、パソコンの方がレッスンをしやすいです。なので、レッスンの前にパソコンが動かないときはとてもあせります。
みなさんは最近あせったことがありますか？

あせる（焦る）：　to panic, to sweat, get flustered
汗(あせ)が出（で）る：sweat
驚く：おどろく　get surprised
イライラする：get frustrated
予想（よそう）する：expect
パソコンを起動（きどう）する：start up PC, boot up PC
