平平 ： 你是哪国人？
píng ping ： nǐ shì nǎ guó rén？ 
Ping Ping: What is your nationality?
Andy ： 我是澳大利亚人。
Andy ： wǒ shì  ào dà lì yà rén。 
Andy:  I am from Australia.

平平 ： 我以为你是美国人呢！
píng ping ： wǒ yǐ wéi nǐ shì  měi guó rén ne！ 
Ping ping:   I thought you were from the United States! 

Andy ： 不是，我在美国住过很长时间，有一点儿美国口音。
Andy ： bú shì，wǒ  zài měi guó zhù guò  hěn cháng shí jiān，yǒu  yī diǎn ér  měi guó  kǒu yīn。 
Andy: No, I have just lived in the United States for a long time, so I have a little American accent.



平平 : 你朋友也是澳大利亚人吗？
píng ping : nǐ  péng yǒu yě shì  ào dà lì yà rén ma？ 
Ping ping: Your friend is from Australia too?

Andy： 不是，他是英国人。
Andy ： bú shì，tā shì  yīng guó rén。 
Andy:  No, he is British.

平平： 欢迎来到中国，很高兴认识你们！
píng ping ： huān yíng  lái dào  zhōng guó，hěn  gāo xìng  rèn shí  nǐ men！
Ping ping: Welcome to China, it is a pleasure to meet you both!

Wǒ de jiā lǐ yǒu sì kǒu rén: bàba, māma, mèimei hé wǒ。

我爸爸是一名中学数学老师，他对学生很热情，并且很有耐心。我小时候也去过爸爸的学校，他一直都很受学生的欢迎；
Wǒ bàba shì yī míng zhōngxué shùxué lǎoshī, tā duì xuéshēng hěn rèqíng,bìngqiě hěn yǒu nàixīn。Wǒ xiǎo shíhòu yě qù guò bàba de xuéxiào, tā yīzhí dōu hěn shòu xuéshēng de huān yíng。
 
我的妈妈是个普通工人，但她工作认认真真，多次拿到优秀工作者的称号。回到家里，妈妈还会照顾爸爸、妹妹和我的生活，即使我现在长大了，但仍然很喜欢与妈妈一起聊天儿；
Wǒ de māma shì gè pǔtōng gōngréng, dàn tā gōngzuò rèn rèn zhēn zhēng, duō cì nádào yōuxiù gōngzuòzhě de chēnghàoà。Huídào jiā lǐ, māma hái huì zhàogù bàba, mèimei hé wǒ de shēnghuó, jíshǐ wǒ xiànzài zhǎngdà le, dàn réngrán hěn xǐhuān yǔ māma yīqǐ liǎotiānr。

 妹妹是一名大学生了，样子甜甜的，特别喜欢唱歌, 她连洗澡都在唱歌。每到大家的休息日，她总要我们当她的粉丝，听她唱一个下午。
Mèimei shì yī míng dà xuéshēng le, yàngzi tiántián de , tèbié xǐhuān chànggē，Tā lián xǐzǎo dōu zài chànggē。Měi dào dàjiā de xiūxī rì, tā zǒngyào wǒmen dāng tā de fěnsī, tīng tā chàng yī gè xiàwǔ

我爱我的家人。工作之余，总喜欢跟他们呆在一起，聊聊天，逛逛街，吃吃饭。
Wǒ ài wǒ de jiārén。 Gōngzuò zhī yú, zǒng xǐhuan gēn tāmen dāi zài yīqǐ, liáo liáo tiān, guàng guàng jiē, chī chī fàn。


There are four people in my family: father, mother, sister and I.  

My father is a middle school math teacher. He is very warm and patient to his students.  I went to my dad's school when I was young, and he was always popular with the students;  
 
My mother is an ordinary worker, but she works seriously and has won the title of excellent worker for many times.  Back home, my mother will take care of my father, my sister and me. Even though I am older now, I still enjoy chatting with my mother.  

My sister is a college student, like sweet, especially like singing, she even take a shower are singing, every day to everyone's rest, she always want us to be her fans, sing an afternoon.  
 
I love my family. After work, I always like to stay with them, chatting, shopping and eating.

Hi everyone!! It’s Timpika and you’re listening to Thai T la nid podcast EP 5!! As you know it’s the hottest time of the year in Thailand right now. It’s burning hot and many times, I have to say “ร้อนมากกกกกก แบบก.ไก่ล้านตัว” (slang).

Alright, some of you might know “ร้อนมาก”  already ร้อน means hot and มาก means very so ร้อนมาก means very hot.

And when you want to emphasize an adjective or adverb even more you can pronounce the word “มาก” longer (The longer the more emphasis). For example ร้อนมากกกกกกกก. Just like that.

But that’s not enough. When it’s a very very great degree. We can add the expression “ก.ไก่ล้านตัว” "gor-gài láan dtuua" or with a million of “ก”.

ก.ไก่ is the letter “ก” which is the final consonant of the word “มาก”
ล้าน = million 
ตัว = the classifier for letters, consonants, vowels, numbers, characters 

So when we say ร้อนมากกกกกก แบบ ก.ไก่ล้านตัว, it means the weather is sooooooo hottttttt! With a million of “t”

More examples on using ก.ไก่ล้านตัว
1. สงกรานต์ที่เมืองไทยสนุกมากกกกกกกก แบบก.ไก่ ล้านตัว
2.  ส้มตำร้านนี้อร่อยมากกกกกก แบบก.ไก่ล้านตัว
