Sebelum kita bahas lebih dalam tentang topik kali ini, saya mau bertanya dulu ke kalian, "apa kamu sudah menemukan jodohmu?" Mungkin kalian pikir, "menemukan jodoh" adalah menemukan pacar atau pasangan hidup, suami atau istri. Tapi sebetulnya arti "jodoh" lebih dari itu. 

Berkat guru Bahasa Jepang saya, saya bisa paham arti "jodoh" adalah ご縁 (goen). Di Bahasa Inggris, saya rasa "jodoh" punya arti banyak, bisa berarti "connection, fate, bond", tergantung konteks. 

Coba bayangkan, dari 8 miliar / 8 billion/ 80億 penduduk dunia, kamu bisa bertemu dengan teman yang betul-betul mendukungmu, yang selalu ada di sisimu, itu artinya dia adalah jodohmu dalam pertemanan. 

Atau ketika kamu sangat lelah mencari pekerjaan, dan akhirnya bisa mendapat pekerjaan yang membuatmu merasa bahagia dan berkembang, artinya kamu berjodoh dengan pekerjaan itu!

Jodoh juga bisa dengan dokter. Dokter yang benar-benar peduli dengan kesehatanmu, dan selalu buat kamu merasa aman. Dia adalah jodohmu di dunia kesehatan. 

Dari pengalaman saya, saya menemukan jodoh dengan guru bahasa saya, ketika saya merasa pertemuan dengannya tidak hanya mengajar dan belajar, tapi saya merasa nyaman, saling mendukung dan saling memberi inspirasi. 

O ya, kalian yang mendengarkan podcast saya ini artinya kita juga berjodoh, loh!

Di mana jodohmu?

I'm still learning how to do this podcasting thing, but I'm trying to share my words anyway. I speak quite quickly in this episode... Sorry! I will try to speak slower next time. 

There's a question for you to answer at the end - in audio or written form - so if you have 10 minutes to listen, and then 5 minutes to answer the question that end -- why not GIVE IT A GO?! (which is another way of saying -  GO FOR IT! DO IT!) You have nothing to lose and lots to gain!

Using your words to speak about things that matter to you - that mean something to you - is a great way to create output and use your English. If you don't want to answer my question - you could try writing freely for 5 minutes. Or you could speak into your phone and talk about how you're doing/feeling today - or what's on your mind. It may feel strange, at first, and that's normal! But over time, speaking or writing - just for yourself - will start to feel good - and it's a WONDERFUL habit to start to build.

2. What did you (really) want to "be" (or do for work) - when you were a child/kid? 

Strop. Codswallop. Knackered. Just like the picture of a chair in the street above (no, we don’t get it either), we Brits do say some strange things sometimes – usually because they evolved from the many, many (many) vastly different regional dialects that exist across the UK (or the strange and very long history of the English language.) Unfortunately, that doesn’t help if you’re learning English in Britain and can’t understand half of what people are saying!

Po wysłuchaniu podcastu, spróbujcie opisać swoja rodzinę :)  i poćwiczycie słownictwo. Na moim profilu są też flashcards z tym słownictwem.

今日は天気がとてもよかったです。
朝早くは霧が出ていました。
英語だとfogですかね。
朝早くは18℃ぐらいでしたが、昼は28℃ぐらいまで上がりました。

さて、今回は、前回に続き、関西弁について話します。
関西弁というより、つっこみの話です。

日本ではお笑いがあります。
特に関西ではお笑いは生活にも根付いています。
お笑いの芸人の人たちはコンビ、2人であることが多いです。1人はボケ、もう1人はツッコミ、と言います。
英語だと、
ボケはfunny manやsilly manなどと言われたり、
ツッコミはstraight manなどと言うようです。

そして、関西では、プロフェッショナル、芸人でなくても、普通の人たちが、漫才のように会話をすることが多いです。

ということで、日常会話でも使う、漫才のような言葉を話しますね！


なんでやねんーなんで
何言うてんねんー何を言ってるんですか
そんなアホなー
誰がやー誰が
ほんで？ーそれから？
ほんまに？ー本当に？
知らんがなー知らない
もうええわーもういいです

などは本当に日常会話で使います。

個人的に思うのは、漫才などは結構リズム、テンポが大切なので、あいづちを多く使うような気がします。

こんな言葉を使いながら、会話のリズムを作って、ツッコミを入れていくのが、関西人の会話です。


たとえを言ってみますね。
ちょっとテンポ良く言います。
ーあ、そうそう、この間さー、
　ーどうしたん？
ーご飯食べに行ってー、
　ーうんうん
ーあ、2人なんですけど、行けますか？って聞いてん
　ーうんうん、それで？
ー店の人が、あー、2人ですかーーって言われるから、あかんのかなって思うやん。
　ーそやなー。それで？
ーあかんような感じやったのに、最後にいけますよ！って言われてん！
　ーいや、行けるんかい！

こんな感じです。伝わりますか？
オチを作って話す感じですね。

いろいろ説明は難しいですが、関西人の会話はこんな感じで、芸人のような会話を日常的にしています。

ぜひ、関西人と話す時は、リズムを意識しながら話してみてください。もちろんオチはなくても大丈夫です！
