Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

海外旅行、ケルンの話が続きます。
昼ご飯を食べたあと、いくつかコーヒーショップに連れて行ってくれました。

2つの店ではコーヒー豆を買いましたので、その店の話をします。

1つ目の店は、

シャモン？チャモン？コーヒーです。

ここはコーヒー豆がメインのお店でした。
コーヒー豆を買いに来る人がとても多かったです。
もちろん、横でドリンクも頼めました。
ラテをオーダーしましたが、エスプレッソの味がしっかりしていて、でもさわやかな後味でおいしかったです。
この店のエスプレッソマシンがマルゾッコ、という会社のマシンでした。僕は以前働いていたコーヒーショップで、10年ぐらいこのマシンを使っていました。だから見ていてとてもうらやましかったです。ちょっと使いたいな、と思います。

地元の方がよくコーヒー豆を買いに来ていました。
地域に愛されている店なんだなと思って、自分もうれしい気持ちになりました。

2つ目の店はこちらです。

ここもコーヒー豆がメインの店でした。　
この店では、ラッキーなことにちょうどコーヒーを焙煎ばいせん、している時でした。僕の知り合いの方が店の人に話しかけてくれたので、10分ぐらいコーヒーの税金の話などをしてくれていました。

どちらの店でも感じたことですが、働いている人が自然に楽しんで働いている感じがしました。それがとても印象的でした。

もちろん、日本のカフェで働いている人たちも楽しんで働いています。でもそれは少しだけ作られたもののような気がしますが、それは感じませんでした。スタッフとお客さんがフラットな関係なのも影響してきるかもしれないですね。

とにかく、良い笑顔の人が多かったです。


信頼されて、任されて、自分で判断できる仕事だと、人は生き生きと働くんだなと改めて思いました。

ということで、ケルンのコーヒーショップとそこで感じたことの話でした。
