こんにちは！Atsushiです。
今回も慣用句シリーズでいきます。

体に関わる慣用句はかなり多いです！
今日は首くびの慣用句でいきます。

世界でも同じかもしれないですが、日本では首は仕事に関わる表現が多いように思います。生活が苦しい時の表現などにも使われるので、首は体の中でも頭と胴体をつないでいるように、大切な部分のようなイメージが昔からあるのかもしれません。

ということでいきましょう！



① 首が繋がる  (くびがつながる)
ギリギリのところで解雇をまぬがれる、のがれる、という意味です。
例えば、
ー本当にやばいと思ったけど、なんとか首がつながった。
などと使います。

② 首が回らない (くびがまわらない)
この意味は、
借金など支払わないといけないお金が多くてどうしようもないことを意味します。
ーどうにもこうにも首が回らない、
などと使います。

③ 首を突っ込む (くびをつっこむ)
この意味は、
関心や興味をもつこと、また、何かに深入りすることを意味します。深入りすることについてはネガティブな、良くないイメージで使います。
例えば、
ー彼はなんにでも首を突っ込みたがる。
ーずいぶん、ややこしいことに首を突っ込んでるなぁ。
とか使います。


どれもポジティブな表現ではなかったですね。
他の首に関する慣用句も少しネガティブな表現が多い感じでした。

ということで、いかがだったでしょうか。
今回の表現も、テレビなどで聞くことの方が多いかもしれません。刑事物のドラマとかによく出てきそうですね。

Script

おはようございます！
日本語だんだんポットキャストのゆかりです。

今日は"すみません"についてです。

日本人は"すみません"をたくさんつかいます。

"すみません"には、ほんとにたくさんの、いみがあります。

ちょっとふしぎな言葉(ことば)ですね。

今日は3つ、話します。

では、ひとつめ。

「ごめんなさい」とおなじいみです。

たとえば、
「すみません、道がこんでいるので、時間におくれます。」
「あ、まちがえました。すみませんでした。」

といいます。

あやまるときに、いいます。
友達(ともだち)には

"ごめんなさい""ごめん"をつかいます。

では、ふたつめ。

2つめは、"ありがとう"のいみです。

さっきとは、逆(ぎゃく)のいみですね。

でも、よくつかいます。

たとえば、
エレベーターで、だれかがドアを開(あ)けてくれました。

そんなときは、
「あ、すみません。」といって、とおります。

"ごめんなさい"ではなく、
"ありがとう"のいみですね。

電車やバス、スーパーなどで、よくつかいます。
知らない人にいいます。
家族や友達には、"ありがとう"といいます。

では、さいごに3つめです。

3つめは、"ちょっといいですか?"のいみです。
だれかに、声(こえ)をかけるときです。

たとえば、レストランで、
「すみません、お水をください。」

「すみません、トイレはどこですか？」

といいます。

お店の人や、知らない人にいいます。

日本に来たら、どんなときに"すみません"を言っているのか・・
聞いて下さいね！
