Not at home

 Lisa puts her bicycle against a tree and walks to the front door of her student house.  There are two people standing there.  A young man and a young woman.  They look at the nameplates on the door.  "Hello," says Lisa.  The man and woman look at Lisa.  "Good afternoon," says the woman.  Lisa hears that she is from Belgium.  They do speak Dutch there, but it sounds different.  Softer.  friendly.  'Can I help you?'  asks Lisa.  "Please," says the woman.  'We're looking for Dan.  He lives here right?  Lisa nods¹.  'Yes, Daan lives here,' she says.  She opens the door and walks in.  The man and woman follow her.  'Daan lives in room 10,' says Lisa.  She points to the door at the end of the hallway.  "Thank you," says the woman.  The man nods to Lisa.  "Thanks," he says.  Lisa walks to room 6, which is her room.  Her own room in Amsterdam!  She has been studying here for almost a year now and she loves it

yì tiān，wū yā jiǎn dào le yí kuài ròu，ɡāo xìnɡ jí le。
一天，乌鸦捡到了一块肉，高兴极了。
tā diāo zhe ròu fēi dào shù shànɡ。
它叼着肉飞到树上。
zhè shí，hú li kàn jiàn le，
这时，狐狸看见了，
tā chán de liú kǒu shuǐ，
它馋得流口水，
tè bié xiǎnɡ chī nà kuài ròu。
特别想吃那块肉。
hú li xiào xī xī de duì wū yā shuō：
狐狸笑嘻嘻地对乌鸦说：
“nín hǎo，měi lì de wū yā，
“您好，美丽的乌鸦，
kuài xià lái yì qǐ wán bɑ！” 
快下来一起玩吧！”
kě shì wū yā bù lǐ tā。
可是乌鸦不理它。
jiǎo huá de hú li zài shù xià zhuàn le jǐ quān， 
狡猾的狐狸在树下转了几圈，
xiǎnɡ chū le yí ɡè hǎo zhǔ yì。
想出了一个好主意。
tā tái qǐ tóu dà shēnɡ de duì shù shànɡ de wū yā shuō：
它抬起头大声地对树上的乌鸦说：
“měi lì de wū yā，
“美丽的乌鸦，
wǒ tè bié xǐ huān tīnɡ nín chànɡ ɡē， 
我特别喜欢听您唱歌，
nín de ɡē chànɡ de tài hǎo tīnɡ le，
您的歌唱得太好听了，
nín chànɡ chànɡ bɑ！chànɡ chànɡ bɑ！” 
您唱唱吧！唱唱吧！”
tīnɡ le hú li de huà，wū yā dé yì jí le。
听了狐狸的话，乌鸦得意极了。
tā zhānɡ kāi dà zuǐ ɡānɡ yào chànɡ，
它张开大嘴刚要唱，
zuǐ lǐ de ròu jiù diào xià qù le。
嘴里的肉就掉下去了。
hú li jiǎn dào ròu，pǎo le。 
狐狸捡到肉，跑了。
