The audio also explains that the 25th of March is a religious celebration. According to Christian tradition, it is the day when the Virgin Mary learned that she would give birth to Jesus Christ.

みなさんは、ゲームをしますか。スポーツを見（み）ますか。
去年（きょねん）の東京（とうきょう）オリンピックを見ましたか。冬（ふゆ）の北京オリンピックを見ましたか。
わたしは、いろんなスポーツを応援（おうえん）しました。
どのスポーツもすばらしかったです。
「ゴールを決めろ」
「ゴールを入れろ」
「高くジャンプしろ」
「先に行け！」
「あー、にげろ！」
「いけ～！！」
「もっと遠（とお）くへなげろ」
「あとちょっと、早（はや）く来（こ）い来い」
って応援しました。
命令形ですね。「行きます」はグループ１です。イ→エです。「行きます」は「いけ」です。「およぎます」は「およげ」です。「にげます」これはグループ２です。グループ２は「ます」ありません。「ます」ドロップです。「にげます」は「にげろ」です。「来ます」はグループ３ですね。「来ます」は「来い」です。

応援は、どんどん気持ちが高まりますね。I'was feeling more and more excited.
「あー、負（ま）けるな」
「さいごまで走(はし)れ。歩（ある）くな」「遅（おく）れるな」
「最後（さいご）のジャンプ、落（おちる）な」
「倒（たおれ）るな」
といろいろと言いました。
みなさんはどうでしたか。
これは禁止形ですね。「あるきます」グループ１です。グループ１はイ→ウです。「あるきます」は「あるくな」です。「落ちます」「おちるな」ですね。「負ける」これはグループ２ですね。「負ける」は「負けるな」です。「たおれる」→「たおれるな」です。グループ３は、来る→来るなです。

みなさんは、日本に来たことがありますか。
街中（まちなか）は漢字、ひらがな、カタカナ、ローマ字、英語、中国語、韓国語とたくさんの言語が書いてあります。
漢字はむずかしいですね。「あれは何と書いてありますか」と聞いてください。「『あれは寿司（すし）』と読みます」と教えてくれます。そして、いろんなマークもあります。「あれはどんな意味ですか」と聞いてください。「『あれは止まれ』という意味です」と教えてくれます。
でも、日本人が話す日本語は、はやいですね。お願いしてください「すみません、ゆっくりはなしてください」と。
日本語はていねいな表現（ひょうげん）が多いです。相手（あいて）がていねいな表現で話すと、もっとむずかしいですね。
例えば「もうしわけありません。ただいま田中は席を外しております」
「あーそうですか。では、私から電話（でんわ）があったことを伝えていただけませんか」とビジネスの現場では、ていねいな言葉をつかいます。わかりますか。
