こんにちは。今日は7月2日火曜日、「5分でわかる日本語」ポッドキャストへようこそ。私は日本語の先生、みわです。今日は「大変」と「難しい」の違いについてお話しします。

🌸「大変（たいへん）」と「難しい（むずかしい）」の違い、知っていますか？

英語を話す人には、この二つの言葉を間違えて使うことが多いかもしれません。今日はその違いを分かりやすく説明します。

まず、「大変」について説明します。「大変」は、たくさんの時間や力が必要なことを意味します。何かをするのにとても疲れる時に使います。

例えば、「大きい荷物を運ぶのは大変です。」という文があります。この場合、大きい荷物を運ぶのにたくさんの力が必要です。だから、「大変」と言います。他にも、「仕事が大変です。」という文もあります。たくさんの仕事をするのに時間や力がかかる時に使います。

次に、「難しい」について説明します。「難しい」は、考えるためにとても頭を使うことを意味します。知識や知恵を使わなければならない時に使います。

例えば、「この問題は難しいです。」という文があります。この場合、その問題を解くためにはたくさん考えなければなりません。だから、「難しい」と言います。もう一つの例は、「このテストは難しいです。」です。テストの問題が理解しにくい時に使います。

ここで、英語を話す人がよく間違える「difficult」との違いについて触れます。「difficult」という言葉は、日本語では「難しい」と訳されることが多いですが、場合によっては「大変」にもなります。ですから、文の意味によって使い方を変えることが大切です。

ここで、皆さんに問題です。「大変」はどんな時に使いますか？
	1.	たくさんの時間や力が必要な時
	2.	頭をたくさん使う時
	3.	簡単な時

正解は「1. たくさんの時間や力が必要な時」です。

最後にもう一つの問題です。「難しい」はどんな時に使いますか？
	1.	体をたくさん使う時
	2.	頭をたくさん使う時
	3.	時間をたくさん使う時

正解は「2. 頭をたくさん使う時」です。

Man Fired for Keeping Webcam Off Awarded $73,000
A remote worker who was fired for refusing to keep his camera on while working has been awarded about $73,000 by a Dutch court.

The man, whose name was not made public, had been working for the US software company Chetu in the Netherlands since 2019. On August 23, 2022, while working remotely, he was told by his employer that he should keep his webcam on all day for online training.

The employee said he didn't feel comfortable being monitored on camera for nine hours, and refused to do so. He added that the company could already see all activities on his laptop and that he was also sharing his screen.

But Chetu said that having a camera on was no different from being watched in an office. And the company fired him.

Finding this unfair, the man took the company to court in the Netherlands. He told the court that he hadn't been given clear enough reasons for being fired, and that asking him to keep his camera on for the whole workday was against his right to privacy.

And the court agreed. Chetu now must pay the man about $73,000.

While using a webcam to check on employees may not be very common, computer programs that monitor employee activity have become popular.

A survey from 2021 found that 60% of US companies with remote workers were using employee monitoring software, and 81% of those companies found that their workers were more productive while being monitored.

Esta semana aprendemos algunos modismos, que son expresiones que tienes que aprender como son y las situaciones en las que necesitas usarlas porque si las analizas e intentas traducir su significado palabra por palabra no tienen ningún sentido. Para ello vamos a ver situaciones o cosas que estoy segura de que sabes cómo expresarlas, pero vamos a ir un poquito más lejos, y te voy a decir qué dirían los españoles en esas situaciones.

91 – Aumenta tu nivel de español inmediatamente usando estas frases

こんにちは！Atsushiです。

前回はあいさつの返し方について、話しました。
もっとたくさんあると思います。また思い出したらPodcastにしますね。

さて、今回は、会話中のあいづちについて。
日本では、会話中によくあいづちを使います。
日常では、相手の話に合わせて同意しながら話を聞きます。
その時に言う言葉や、しぐさのことをあいづちといいます。
日本人のあいづちは多い、と言われることもありますが、基本的にはあいづちをすることは良いと思います。相手の話を聞いていることを表す方法の1つです。

例えば、言葉はこんな感じです。
・はい、ええ、うん 
・そうですね (that's how it is, I think)
・そうですか (is that so?)
・ほんとう、ほんと、ほんとに、ほんま (really)
・なるほど (I see, that's right)
・それから？(And？)
このような言葉を良く使うと思います。
もちろん他にもたくさんあります。

例えば、こんなやり取りをします。
ロールプレイすると関西弁になってしまいますが、お許しください。
A:昨日さー
B:うん
A:仕事でめちゃ良いことがあってー
B:えー、いいやん、どうしたん？
A:お客さまから、この店はいつもみんなニコニコしてて良いねっていわれてんー
B:えー、そうなんや！めっちゃうれしいやん！
A:そんなこと、直接言われることってあんまりないやん？
B:うん、たしかに。
A:そう、だから昨日はほんまに気分良かったわーー。
B:それは良かったなーー。

こんな感じですね。
どうですか？

会話をスムーズにするためにあいづちを良く使います。
反対にあいづちがないと話している人は少し不安になります。はなしを聞いてくれているかわからないからです。

ですので、話を聞いている時はぜひ、いろいろあいづちを使ってみてください。むずかしい時は、うんうん、とか、そうなんですね、とかだけでも大丈夫です。

96 あいづち、について

大家好，我是Honglin老师，欢迎来到我的汉字频道。
这是我的第二条推送。今天要和你们分享的是，“口”字，一家五口人的“口”，吃饭和说话会用到的“口”，或者说，我们的嘴巴。

口，是一个象形字，它的形状长得就像我们的嘴巴。最开始的“口”，是一个圆形，就像我们说“啊”的时候，嘴巴张开的样子。而且两边的竖很长，看起来就像一个英文字母的H，只不过最下面还有一横。后来圆的慢慢变成方的，两边的竖也变短，就变成了现在的“口”，就像一个正方形。“口”这个字，是汉字里变化最小的字之一，也是一些字的偏旁，表示和嘴巴相关的动作或者物品。比如，“吃”，吃东西的吃，就是用的“口”字旁。

那含有“口“字的词语也很多，今天给大家分享一个网络用语，“口嗨”。

“嗨“你可以理解成英文的“high“，兴奋的意思。口嗨的意思就是虽然话说得很漂亮，说可以做或者要做一件事，听起来很兴奋，但是行动上却做不到，说到却做不到。比如，你有一个朋友天天和你说，“哎呀，下次来我的城市，一定要告诉我，我带你玩，我带你吃好吃的，保证你满意“。但等你真的到了他那里，他说的这些要带你做的事，一件也没做。那你就可以说，“哎，他只是口嗨啦“。
