Flight Attendant
Would you like something to drink? We have soda, coffee and tea as well as alcoholic beverages.


Matt
Sure, how much are the drinks?


Flight Attendant
Non-alcoholic beverages are free of charge. Alcoholic drinks are five dollars each.


Matt
Ok. I'd like to have a cup of coffee, please. Are meals going to be served on this flight?


Flight Attendant
Dinner will be served halfway through the flight. I will also bring you a snack with your beverage.


Matt
Can we choose what we will have for dinner?


Flight Attendant
Certainly. I will be bringing the menu for you to choose from. We have chicken, fish, and beef.


Matt
Is a vegetarian meal available?


Flight Attendant
Yes, but only if you have requested a special meal when you booked your flight. If not, I will try to find some extra servings of vegetables for you.


Matt
That would be great. Thank you very much.

 주말에 자연 속으로

요즘 많은 사람들이 바쁜 일상에서 벗어나 자연 속으로 떠나는 것을 좋아합니다. 저도 지난 주말에 친구들과 함께 산에 다녀왔습니다. 날씨가 아주 맑고 따뜻해서 등산하기에 딱 좋았어요. 아침 일찍 출발해서 산에 오르기 시작했는데, 처음에는 길이 좀 힘들었지만, 중간쯤 올라가자 시원한 바람이 불어서 기분이 좋아졌습니다. 산 중턱에서 잠시 쉬면서 도시에서는 보기 어려운 새소리를 들을 수 있었습니다.

정상에 도착했을 때는 땀이 많이 났지만, 눈앞에 펼쳐진 멋있는 풍경을 보자 피로가 싹 사라졌습니다. 도시의 높은 건물 대신 푸른 산과 맑은 하늘이 보이니 마음이 정말 편해졌습니다. 친구들과 사진도 찍고, 준비해 간 김밥과 과일을 먹으며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

산에서 내려온 후 근처의 작은 카페에 들렀습니다. 창문 밖으로 보이는 산 풍경이 너무 아름다워서 커피 한 잔이 더 맛있게 느껴졌습니다. 그곳에서 다른 등산객들과 이야기도 나누었는데, 모두 자연을 좋아하고 자주 산에 간다고 했습니다.

이번 등산을 통해 저는 자연의 소중함을 다시 한 번 느꼈습니다. 평소에는 스마트폰이나 컴퓨터 앞에 앉아 있는 시간이 많지만, 가끔 이렇게 자연 속에서 시간을 보내면 마음이 깨끗해지고 행복해집니다. 앞으로는 일주일에 한 번이라도 가까운 공원이나 산을 찾아가서 산책을 하려고 합니다.

一休さん、そのとんち、どうなの？

في هذه الحلقة… دعني آخذك إلى مدينةٍ تختلف عن كل مدينة.
مدينةٍ تمشي فيها، فتشعر أنّ الزمن لا يتحرّك… بل أنت الذي تتحرّك داخله.

إنها القدس.

وعندما يحلّ المساء… تتحوّل القدس إلى حكاية أخرى، أعمق، أهدأ، وأقرب إلى القلب.

نبدأ من باب العمود.
الناس تتجوّل، الشباب يجلسون على الدرج الحجري العريض، الأصوات تختلط… ضحكات، خطوات، وباعة يعرضون الكعك المقدسي الشهير.
رائحة السمّاق والسمسم تملأ المكان.

ثم نمشي نحو البلدة القديمة. الأزقّة ضيقة، لكنها مليئة بالنور.
البيوت متلاصقة، وحجارة الجدران تحمل آثار مئات السنين.
كل زاوية هنا لها قصة… وكل نافذة لها ذاكرة.

في الليل… تسمع أصواتًا قليلة، لكنها تكفي لتشعر بالحياة.
باب يُغلق، قنديل يُضاء، همسات نساء من خلف نافذة عالية، وصوت طفل يركض في الممر.

نصل إلى طريق الواد.
الأسواق القديمة تغلق أبوابها، لكن رائحة البهارات تبقى معلّقة في الهواء… كأنها لا تريد مغادرة المكان.

ثم نقترب أكثر… نحو المسجد الأقصى المكلوم.
في الليل، يصبح الهدوء كأنه دعاء طويل.
أشجار الزيتون تتحرك مع النسيم الخفيف، وتسمع صوت المؤذّن يصدح في المساء:
“الله أكبر… الله أكبر…”
صوتٌ يشبه صدى التاريخ.

وعندما تجلس تحت قبة الصخرة… تنظر إلى حجارتها الذهبية التي تعكس ضوء المصابيح،
وتشعر أنك أمام مكانٍ جمع كل الأنبياء، وكل القصص، وكل الدموع… وكل الرجاء.

في ليالي القدس… لا تحتاج إلى كلمات كثيرة.
يكفي أن تمشي، أن تتنفس، أن تلمس حجارة الطريق،
لتعرف أنّ هذه المدينة ليست مجرد مدينة…
بل روحٌ تمشي على الأرض.
