I am going to talk about what we did in the rehearsal and on the day of the concert this time.

サントリー１万人の第九　№２
前回は、　『サントリー１万人の第九』についてと　合唱の練習についてお話ししました。
第２回目は　前日のリハーサルとコンサート当日のことをお話します。

本番前日の１２月２日はリハーサルでした。兵庫芸術文化センター管弦楽団　通称PACオーケストラの生演奏に合わせて　１００００人の合唱団が初めて一緒に歌いました。　歌っては止められ、歌っては止められしながら、細かい修正を繰り返して、１００００人の第九を仕上げていきました。指導してくれる先生が、まるで大阪のコメディアンのようにおもしろかったです。結構、きびしい指摘なんですが、言い方がおもしろくてみんな笑っていました。

そして、２０２３年１２月３日㈰　コンサート当日
朝９時１５分に集合し、座席の調整、ゲネプロ（Generalprobe）つまり最終リハーサルが行われました。このリハーサルが終われば、午後３時からほんとのほんとの本番です。　うわあ！　ドキドキです。　落ちつけ、落ち着けと心の中で　唱えていました。

プログラムの第１部が　午後３時に開演され、
L.バーンスタイン『キャンディード序曲』『ウエストサイド物語』より「Mambo」、
日本で人気のあるEXILEのボーカルTAKAHIROさんによる『Unconditional』『道』『Choo Choo Train』 が演奏されました。

３０分の休憩をはさんで　いよいよ私たちの出番です。
第２部L.V.ベートーヴェン『交響曲第９番ニ短調作品１２５「合唱付き」』
第１楽章、第２楽章とオーケストラの演奏を　じっと聴き入る１００００人と観客４０００人
第３楽章の前にソリストが入場。とても静かで美しいメロディーの第３楽章をうっとりと聴きました。
そして　休みなく第４楽章が始まっていきました。
メロディーにじっと耳を澄ませ、立ち上がるタイミングをはかります。
バリトンのソリストが立ち上がるのと同時に　１００００人の合唱団が一斉に立ち上がりました。見事に揃っていたと思います。
そこからは　無我夢中で　歌いました。　♪Deine Zauber binden wieder, ～　Freude, schoner Gotter funken！Got ter fun ken！“♪
あっという間でした。　しっかりと　歌いきりました。
あ～終わってしまった・・・　

歌えた喜びと　終わってしまった寂しさが入り混じった不思議な気持ちでした。

こんな素敵な時間が持てたことに感謝です。
