Can I use 'feed on' to human as well?
I have found some examples used only to animals (Owls feed on small mammals, Bat feed on insects, Birds feed on nuts and berreis)
And I wonder if it would be okay to say : "Human(people) feed on rice, meat, vegetables and fruit etc"
If you made humans plural, it would be grammatically correct.
Humans feed on rice, meat, vegetables and fruit.
But it would sound really unusual to say it that way. It would sound much natural like this:
People eat rice, meat, vegetables and fruit.

Feed on is usually used with animals. Metaphorically, feed on is used to mean grow on, or flourish.
For example, the dictatorship feeds on the people's fear of anarchy.
Rumors feed on misinformation.
