Hi everyone,
Does "To tell a secret" mean you tell someone else's secret on purpose, or you tell someone else's secret and it's an accident (it's like you didn't mean to but it happedned when you chatted with someone), or you confide your personal information to someone?
Or does it depend on the context?
E.g. I can't believe you told him my secret! (Does it mean the speaker thinks you did it on purpose?)
E.g. I can't tell you my secret (Can I say it?)

If you tell someone a secret, you do it consciously.
You can tell somebody your own secret or somebody else's secret.
