"Wing" isn't a verb unless it has "it" right after it. To "wing it" is to improvise, or to proceed without a plan and figure out what you are going to do next as you go along.

“Wing it” is slang it means to do something without practice or preparation.
For example “I didn’t study for my math test I’m just going to wing it and hopefully I pass it”
However “wing”
By itself could mean a wing of a bird
Or wing of a plane that helps it to fly
