Are there any rules for the placement of the word "auch" in the sentence? should it be placed after the verb, noun?

Let me try to explain with a few sentences. “Ich bin müde. Wollen wir schlafen gehen?“ - „Gute Idee! Ich bin auch müde.“ -> in general you put „auch“ behind the conjugated verb. But you can also put it in front of the word you want to emphasize: “Ich bin müde. Könntest du heute bitte kochen?“ - „Auch ich bin heute müde. Lass uns einfach nur ein Brot essen.“ You could have also said: „Ich bin heute auch müde.“ It just sounds more neutral. If there is also a pronoun, you put „also“ behind it: „Das Buch hat mir auch gut gefallen.“ -> conjugated verb + pronoun + auch I hope these explanations help!
