These masterpieces are written in the so-called Sini style. It is a way of writing Arabic script the Chinese style to produce stunning works like the ones you are seeing here. When I first looked at some of these works, I was confused; it looked like Chinese to me — but not quite. Only to look at it from a different angle and realize it is the good old Arabic! These are some of the works of the world-renowned Chinese calligrapher Mi Guang Jiang (米广江), also known by his Islamic name Haji Noor Deen (حاجي نور الدين). Chinese calligraphy and Arabic calligraphy use diffirent tools and have, of course, different and unique characteristics. Generally speaking, Chinese calligraphy is more angular, whereas Arabic calligraphy has more curves to it. The Sini style combines both those in one work. For Arabic natives and learners, can you read what is written? :-)
