How Watching Movies Helped Me Improve My English
Hi everyone!
I’d like to share something that really helped me improve my English — watching movies with subtitles.
At first, I watched with subtitles in my native language. Then I switched to English subtitles, and finally, I tried watching without any subtitles at all. It wasn’t easy, but I noticed that my listening skills and vocabulary got much better over time.
Here are some tips that worked for me:
Choose movies you already know or enjoy.
Watch short scenes and replay them to understand the dialogue.
Write down new phrases or expressions.
Try to imitate the pronunciation.
Do you watch movies to learn a language too? If so, what are your favorite films or shows? I’d love to hear your recommendations!
Thanks for reading! 😊
