Is it better to reach potential students before setting up your profile as an italki teacher or use your profile on italki as the starting point for reaching students already in the platform?

Hi,for me, I joined iTalki years ago,and got one booking in the first week. O no, I thought!  Then two the next week, then 5, then 35! Students tell their friends, if they find your method works for them.
