These days, I bought some clothes on the Internet.
I have the hard work such as a test, report or presentations in this month.
So I bought clothes to treat myself.
I am looking forward to them arriving!

Recently, I/I've bought some clothes on the Internet. I have lots of hard work to do this month, including a test, a report and presentations. So I bought some clothes to treat myself. I am looking forward to them arriving!
"These days" would only be used if the tense were "buy". E.g. "These days, I don't like buying clothes". It's like "nowadays".
