Hi, there
Let’s say two mothers are talking about their kids.
A: I’ve never seen a kid so picky about toothpaste. He refuses to use all of those toothpastes.
B: You could try this one here. My son loves it and it’s like (a) peppermint tic-tac flavor.
A: My son hates mint.
B: Oh well, THAT MAKES IT COMPLICATED/ Oh well, THAT COMPLICATES THINGS/ OH WELL THAT’S ROUGH
A: I may try Colgate watermelon/watermelon Colgate
Do any of my options in capital letters said by B work? If not, what would you say? Are there any better alternatives to “That’s rough”? And would you say “Colgate watermelon” or “watermelon Colgate”?
thank you very much!!
