Are these sentences grammatically correct and natural enough?
▪ Why are you relying upon ad hominem remarks with him? Be mature and argue in a manner that respects the merit of his arguments.
I find your sentences quite understandable. However, I wouldn't use "ad hominem" to describe "remarks". "Ad hominem", which is Latin for "to the man", is a type of fallacy whereby personal attacks substitute for sound logic. So, "ad hominem" should describe an argument, not just a "remark".

merit of his arguments.
It’s grammatically correct but not anything anyone would say.
