What does "With a cold" mean? Sickness (have a cold) or cold weather? What can it mean? This is all I have. A is visiting B's house.

A is asking if B was in bed (sick) with a cold
This is the only possible meaning because 'cold' as in cold weather is an adjective and cannot be preceded by 'a' without being also followed by a noun.

Sickness. A is informally asking B "Are you sick?" because B is in bed while wearing a robe, but they are not sleeping.
