Hi!
1. I know in British English there is a lorry which describes a big vehicle that can transport some heavy loads in the back.
2. Also there is a tip lorry which can unload itself by flipping its carriage body.
3. And what would be the name of a vehicle that collects and carries contents of rubbish bins? A rubbish lorry? A rubbish van?
Thanks!

As Charlie said. Also note that a "tip lorry" is known as a "dump truck" in American English.
