Hello everyone!
Last weekend, I decided to take a break from my usual routine and spend some time focusing on myself. Recently, I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed with schoolwork, part-time job shifts, and various small tasks that keep piling up. So instead of pushing myself too hard, I chose to slow down and reflect on how I’ve been spending my days.
As I sat in a quiet café near my house, I found myself naturally looking back on the past year. It has been a mix of challenges and small achievements. There were stressful weeks filled with deadlines, but there were also moments when I felt proud of how much I had grown—academically, personally, and even emotionally. I realized that although I often worry about not doing enough, I have actually handled many difficult situations better than I expected. Thinking about the ups and downs of this year made me appreciate the progress I usually overlook in my busy everyday life.
On Sunday, I reviewed my schedule for the upcoming weeks and set some realistic goals. I want to manage my time better so I don’t end up feeling stressed right before deadlines. I also promised myself to get more sleep and make small breaks part of my daily routine.
Overall, the weekend helped me reset both mentally and physically. I feel a little lighter now, and I hope to keep this balanced mindset going forward.
