Hi to all of my dear Arabic-speakers. This question goes to those who are well-versed in the Arabic grammar, and who are familiar with the text called Ajrumiyyah. This time the issue is rather simple, from what I feel, but I still can't put my finger on it: "ضَمٌّ وَوَاوٌ أَلِفٌ وَالنُّونُ عَلاَمَةُ الرَّفْعِ بِهَا تَكُونُ" Should the above-cited debate be translated as: "Dhamum, Wawun, Alifun and Noon are the signs of Raf that exist in it"? For I don't understand what the "بها" after the "علامة الرفع" is referring to - back to "علامة الرفع"? In addition, who is the فاعل of the verb "تكون" - the "علامة الرفع"? If so, then what would be the approximately right way to translate it in this case? For I cannot make it up in my mind for some reason Or is this verb refers to the conglomeration of the letters as a feminine singular? Thank you all in advance!
