Professional Teacher“In Ukrainian, we have many unique expressions that don’t have a direct English equivalent. For example, ‘Мені байдуже’ (I don’t care / it doesn’t matter). Can you think of similar expressions in your native language? Would you like me to share more Ukrainian ones?”

I am a native English speaker. I study Spanish for personal interest, and I have several Spanish friends.
"Tomar el pelo" means to tease or joke with someone. It doesn't have a direct English equivalent that I know of. These unique expressions used in their context have become a fascinating way for me to learn about other cultures and languages.
Thanks for sharing!
