Hi, dear native English speaker.
I've been trying to translate a Russian Christmas song from Ru to Eng.
Would you mind looking it up and telling me your opinion of how natural it sounds, please?
VERSE 1
-------
the city, holding a decorated Christmas tree in its hand, is entangled with garlands in the snow powder.
the year has flown by, and time keeps on racing in circles!
[we're] together, singing and shouting toasts, of all nationalities and ages.
how great it is that we have each other!
pre-CHORUS 1
----------
together, let's raise our glasses of wine
to the chimes of the [Kremlin] clock, bottoms up!
CHORUS
------
happy New Year, country!
happy New Year, country!
happy New Year, country!
happy New Year!

VERSE 1
-------
City, with a decorated Christmas tree in its hands, is beautified with garlands in snow powder.
The year has flown by, and time keeps on rushing in circles!
I tried but maybe it is not accurate translation.
