"Want to" is always more definite than "would like to" or "would love to." The latter two indicate that it's something the speaker thinks would be nice; the first one is something the speaker absolutely desires to do.

would like to do it-they are probably just thinking about it and might do it
would love to do it-they will do it and REALLY want to
