I am very interested in the issue of bullying because, despite the fact that bullying is an act that often damages an individual's dignity and can even lead to death, it is criticized but is not easily violated by law. I believe that bullying makes it difficult for both victims and bystanders to speak up. Victims may feel that if they speak out, they may cause worry, or they may be subjected to more extreme bullying, while bystanders may feel that they too may be the target of bullying, or that it is no big deal. It's not a big problem. Not only that, but the school may be aware of the bullying but let it go unchecked because they do not want to be disadvantaged. There may be other causes as well, which may force victims of bullying to cry themselves to sleep. Anyway, I thought that causes like these create problems that cannot be adjudicated by the law. I cannot allow the victims to cry themselves to sleep and the perpetrators to go on with their lives without being judged. Maybe the perpetrator has no sense of guilt, maybe he or she even forgets that they bullied him or her. But the victim will be scarred by the fact for the rest of his/her life. I would like to change everything from laws to people's awareness so that everyone can face bullying and have it firmly recognized as a crime.
