Hi can anyone tell me the meaning of the word suboptimist?

'suboptimist' is probably a word coined by some people for a person who has slightly less than an optimistic character.
suboptimal (sub-optimal) means less than the optimum, not the best.
I've seen people call themselves 'superoptimists'!
Personally, I won't be using 'suboptimist' until it gets into the major dictionaries.
