Crystal, this is very good. Well done. For explanation: Children is plural (meaning many or few children) so "4-year-old kindergarten child" is the correct phrase.

My family is a small family. There are three members in my family: my husband, my son and me. My husband is the bread maker of our family. He earns the living to support our daily life. My son is a 4-year-old kindergarten student. And I am a housewife and a part-time acupuncturist.
My only correction is "kindergarten student" instead of "kindergarten children". The sentence "There are three members in my family" sounds odd, but it is technically correct. You can also say "There are three people in my family"
