I'm learning Spanish. There's a word "mama" comes up in many popular Spanish songs, does it mean "mother" or "beautiful lady" or "baby" this kinds of words? I'm really confused

Normally in pop songs, when it means 'baby', it's rather 'mami' than 'mama'.

Hi Tracy 😊 In my region we utilize the word ā€œmamaā€ as a way to call someone who is a female, no matter the age. For example ā€œVen mama. PĆ”same la tela.ā€ But that doesn’t happen in every country of Latin America. About ā€œmamiā€ it’s a way to call grown up women mostly in reggaeton songs. And it means beautiful lady and all the range of tags related to that characteristic. If you have further questions don’t hesitate to reach me out ✨ All the best in your studies!
